It’s that time of the semester again, the time of long nights, stress, and sometimes (most definitely) tears. Don’t worry, take a deep breath, and take some of these tips to be as relaxed as you can be for one of the most stressful weeks. First things first, create a playlist of all your favorite songs to study to. Studying is hard, but if you have your favorite songs playing, you will be able to lift your spirits, just by listening! Eat your favorite dessert. Ice cream, cake, gelato, whatever it may be, eat it because it’s hard to be negative and stressed when eating a cookie ‘n’ cream waffle cone. Go workout – but in a fun way! Don’t just go to the gym and run on the treadmill or lift weights, go to a trampoline park, like Skyzone. Go jump out your stress and have fun while doing it! Go outside to study. Research has shown that the more time you spend outside while studying, you’re more likely to retain that information. Plus, The Reef has plenty of good outside study spots for you to retain and relax. And finally, take a bubble bath. Take some time out of studying to relax in the bath. Get some bath bombs, essential oils, and some candles, play some relaxing music and chill in the hot tub for 15 minutes. Finals week can be stressful but with these tips, it can be a less stressful week!
